Ti-Chey, aka toxm-e cheshm, the @coolzabAn avatAr.

ت  چ

It’s like T.J.  But it’s T. Ch.  Ti-Che.  And to make it sound like TJ (and not به تو چه ) - Ti-Chey.

Ti-Chey’s hip Elvisian pompadour is pure youthful revolt.  At the same time, it is made of the shoe with which you can walk on his eyeballs.  Because he’s totally polite and t’Arofi that way.

Seriously. “qadam ru toxm-e cheshm” is a common polite phrase. “Step on my eyeballs”.

Why?  I have no idea.  Ask your elders.  Then tell us in the comments below.

Language Tips

Does the above sentence look weird?  Tips: Read Persian right to left.  Also, Persian word order is different from English.

Poetry Connection

The “heels over head” thing could also mean that Ti-Chey is mystically inclined.  That he is drawn to Sufi mysticism. To the Poets.

We hear from Rumi:

I said, “Show me the ladder, that i may mount up to heaven.”
He said, “Your head is the ladder, bring your head down under your feet.”

[If you know the lines for this in Persian, please tell us/send me the link!  I’d like to connect with it here].

Rumi Has It

OMG we must have a variation of Adele’s “Rumor Has It” with lines from Rumi’s poetry.  Send us links if you have done this, or do it!
